Sherece is the founder of Sentrik Events. In 2009, Sherece began her hospitality career while training at the most magical place on earth —while interning for Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Her love for hospitality and event planning grew exponentially from that point on. She graduated with a Hospitality Management Degree from Eastern Illinois University in 2012. While in college, she participated in her school’s study abroad program; it was life-altering. Studying in Florence, Italy—the birthplace of the Renaissance—nurtured her own desire to create beauty, utilize her creativity, and spark ingenuity. She soon returned to her hometown of Chicago where she continued her career in hotel management with Hyatt Hotels for four years. In 2017, she ventured to Wyndham Hotels where she worked as a Banquet Manager for one of Wyndham’s luxury hotels in downtown Chicago, The Wyndham Grand. She went on to earn her certification in Event Planning from the Correlations Event Program.
Skilled & Passionate
Over the past 11 years, she has gained experience planning and designing both corporate and social events- including many weddings. She has worked diligently to cultivate trusting relationships with vendors and clients and while continually gaining priceless experience working on an expanding portfolio of events.
Her passion for creativity, planning, and designing led her to start her own event company, Sentrik, in 2020. At Sentrik, your precious moments are personal to us. We are skilled at and passionate about engraving your life’s most precious events in the fabric of time.
